Prerequisites: You must: Be a resident of Edinburgh aged 16 or over. Have evidence of your Right to Work. Have a communicative level of English. Have the motivation and ability to start employment straight after the course. Be currently unemployed or in work poverty, and not in the full-time education.

What you will learn - course modules

A minimum of 8 days training including:

  • Working towards industry recognised certificates (Food Hygiene, H&S, GDPR, Manual Handling, Infection Control etc.)
  • Transferable skills, such as: Customer Service & Complaint Handling, Effective Communication, Personal Development and IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint)
  • Guaranteed interviews for live vacancies, such as: receptionist, administrator, housekeeper, IT support/assistant with one of our partner employers: Hilton Double Tree, Kings Manor Hotel, AJ Connect, Resourcing Group.
