  • Job-matching
  • Link to growth sectors

  • Upskilling and career progression

Capital City Partnership deliver and maintain Helix and the helix.scot website.

Who uses Helix?

City of Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders councils use the system for all their employability delivery. Other Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Deal projects use it for client and employer data and reporting across all six Local Authority areas.

Midlothian, West Lothian and Fife will move their employability delivery to the Helix system as part of a staggered migration.

Having the six local authority areas work together to use the Helix system means:

  • A better system for clients and caseworkers, with more functionality planned.
  • Sustainable, faster and better value developments of the system.
  • A common data language allows for easier reporting and data analysis. The insights give a deeper understanding of delivery across the region.
