VTF Introduction to Mechanics Academy

This four week course helps you gain Warehouse and Logistic sector recognised certificates, with the option of a guaranteed interview with a recruiting employer.

It's a practical course which helps you gain useful certificates. You'll also receive support to help you look for a job.

Prerequisites: This course is available for Edinburgh residents, aged 16 or over, who are either unemployed or facing in-work poverty and have barriers to employment.

What you will learn - course modules

The four week training will include:

Week 1 – Introduction to mechanics course
Week 2 – Introduction to mechanics course
Week 3 – Introduction to mechanics course x 2 and 1 day Hybrid course with a half day taster session
Week 4 – Employability skills and guaranteed interview with GTG recruitment advisor, who will match candidates with suitable employers and assist candidates in registering for apprenticeship opportunities.
