VTF Retail and Hospitality Academy - November

Capital City Partnership’s Vocational Training Framework have partnered with Triage to deliver a Retail and Hospitality Academy.

This free 2-week course includes 8 days of vocational training and support, working towards industry recognised certificates and a new career.

It is a great opportunity for successful participants to start meaningful employment.

Prerequisites: This course is available for Edinburgh residents, aged 16 or over, who are either unemployed or facing in-work poverty and have barriers to employment.

What you will learn - course modules

This fully funded training includes:

8 days of vocational training and individual mentoring feedback and support sessions.
Working towards industry recognised certificates: Introduction to Retail, Introduction to Hospitality, ICQ Principles of Customer Service in Hospitality Leisure (Award), ICQ Food Safety in Catering (Award)
Importance of Teamwork with some practical activities
Managing challenging situations within a team as well as with customers; complaints handling
Money Handling

Support with job applications
